This policy reflects Whisper AI's actual data practices as designed. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and should not be published or relied on for App Store submission until it has been. Sections marked [bracketed] need real information filled in before this goes live.

Who we are

Whisper AI Dating Coach LLC ("Whisper AI," "we," "us") operates the Whisper AI: Dating Coach mobile application. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what control you have over it.

What we collect

Data linked to your identity:

Account information (email or Sign in with Apple identifier)
Content you submit for a suggestion — pasted text, or a screenshot you choose to upload
Saved replies, conversation contexts, and Match Notebook entries you choose to keep
Usage data (which tones, goals, and features you use) to power the Coaching Insights feature

Data not linked to your identity:

Diagnostic and crash data, to keep the app working correctly

We do not access your photo library, contacts, or location. The keyboard extension only processes content you explicitly submit for a suggestion — it does not read or transmit anything you type elsewhere.

AI Usage & Data Statement

Whisper AI uses artificial intelligence to help you draft dating-app messages, polish your profile, and analyze conversations. Our AI features are powered by Base44's AI infrastructure, which may route your requests to one of several third-party large language model providers — including OpenAI (GPT-family models), Google (Gemini-family models), and Anthropic (Claude-family models). The specific model is selected automatically based on the task, so a single provider or model cannot always be guaranteed.

What we send: When you generate a reply, audit, or analysis, we send the text you provide (a message, bio, or uploaded screenshot) along with your selected tone, goal, and mode to these providers to produce your suggestions. Upload only content you have the right to share, and please avoid including other people's sensitive personal information in screenshots.

What we don't do: We do not use your conversations or inputs to train AI models, and your inputs are not retained by us beyond what's needed to provide the feature and keep your saved replies, conversation contexts, and Match Notebook entries.

How to use results: AI suggestions are a starting point, not advice or guarantees. Always review and edit before sending — you're responsible for what you communicate. Whisper is not a substitute for professional relationship or mental-health guidance.

Your control: You can delete saved replies, conversation contexts, and Match Notebook entries at any time, and request full account deletion from Account Settings.

Why the keyboard needs "Full Access"

iOS requires Full Access for any custom keyboard that connects to the internet. Whisper AI's keyboard uses this solely to send your submitted text or screenshot to the AI providers described above and return a suggestion. No other keystrokes are read, stored, or transmitted.

How we use your data

To generate the suggestions, audits, and conversation analysis you request, via the AI providers described above
To maintain your saved replies, conversation contexts, and Match Notebook entries so they're there when you come back
To operate the Coaching Insights feature you've opted into
To process payments through Apple's In-App Purchase system (we do not directly handle or store payment card details — Apple does)

What we don't do

We do not sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
We do not use your conversations or inputs to train AI models.
We do not build advertising profiles from your conversations or content.

Your controls

Delete saved content: saved replies, conversation contexts, and Match Notebook entries can be deleted anytime from within the app.
Delete your account: available directly from Account Settings. No email required, no waiting period.
Cancel your subscription: managed through your Apple ID subscription settings, or directly in-app.
Request your data: contact us at privacy@whisper-dating-coach.com.

Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Inputs sent for AI processing are not retained beyond what's needed to provide the feature and maintain your saved replies, conversation contexts, and Match Notebook entries — all of which are deleted when you delete them individually or delete your account.

Children's privacy

Whisper AI is rated 18+ and is not directed at, marketed to, or knowingly used by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll notify you in-app before the change takes effect.
